escalated costs ON HIGHER EDUCATION IN KENYA
Over the past several months, there have been numerous conferences on the state of higher education in Africa and around the world, some of which I’ve participated in and even given keynote addresses. From these conferences, and the increasingly frantic higher education media, it is clear that the specter of financial instability and unsustainability haunts many universities in the developed and developing countries alike, from the United States to Kenya. The challenges are of course mediated by local contexts
