Self esteem
Self-esteem refers to perception and evaluation of one’s worth and value. It encompasses beliefs about oneself. Healthy self-esteem is characterized by a balanced view of strengths and weaknesses, enabling individuals to navigate challenges and pursue goals with resilience. Conversely, low self-esteem can lead to negative self-talk, anxiety, and difficulty in relationships, while excessively high self-esteem may result in arrogance or unrealistic self-perception. Cultivating self-esteem involves self-acceptance, positive affirmations, and surrounding oneself with supportive relationships.
