Not Everyone Who Understands You Is Meant to Stay Forever
Some people enter our lives and understand parts of us deeply. That can be meaningful. It can even be healing. But understanding alone does not necessarily mean permanence. There are people who: awaken self-awareness reveal emotional wounds teach lessons help us grow reflect parts of ourselves back to us without being lifelong partners. Yet many people resist this reality because they fear that letting go of the relationship means losing the only person who truly “saw” them. This fear becomes especially strong in those who spent years emotionally unseen.
