As an empath I want you to know that when we talk like this, in these little text bubbles on a screen, I'm truly listening. It might not look like it from your side, but I am. I make a conscious choice to be still. I close other tabs, silence other notifications, and I give you that space. I read your words not just for their information, but for their texture and their weight.
