In business, it will LITERALLY make or break any deal or project that you're working on. All too often as a provider of certain asset classes or commodities in general that people need access to, a person can become blinded by the fact that they truly need to be a good representative of what that buyer is looking for. What it really comes down to is not being overly concerned with what your commission is going to be on the deal or how much money you stand to make over the length of the contract. The goal should always be to satisfy the client ahead of ourselves. By keeping that front and center in your mind, you can generally be assured that you will get what you need also.
