Salvation

1. *Salvation* means being rescued from sin, brokenness, and separation from God. 2. In Christianity, it’s rooted in the belief that humans can’t fix this on their own. 3. The core claim: Jesus’ death and resurrection pay the penalty for sin and defeat death. 4. It’s received by grace, not earned through good works alone. 5. Faith and repentance are the human response—turning toward God and trusting Jesus. 6. The result is forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and a new spiritual life now. 7. Salvation also carries a future hope of resurrection and eternal life with God.
