THE ALARMING RISE IN NUMBER OF CAESAREAN DELIVERIES!
A C-section or Caesarean is a surgery used to deliver a baby surgically through a cut in the mother's abdomen and another in the uterus. This is done when vaginal delivery would put the baby, mother or both at risk. Mothers are increasingly requesting to be operated on without medical complications because of personal reasons like avoiding pain during vaginal delivery. The alarming rise is partly due to the increased requests by women to undergo the surgery in the absence of clear medical indication but do you truly need to face the “surgical knife”?
