Illness and disease
Illness refers to the subjective experience of feeling unwell or unhealthy. It includes the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of discomfort, such as pain, fatigue, or anxiety, and is how a person perceives and responds to their condition.
Disease, on the other hand, is a specific medical condition or abnormality affecting the body's structure or function. It is typically diagnosed by a healthcare professional and may have identifiable causes, symptoms, and treatments, such as infections, genetic disorders, or chronic conditions.
