Salvation and new life in Christ

Salvation is the state of being redeemed from sin, you get born again by believing and accepting Christ as your personal saviour. Once you have accepted Christ, you have to confess your sins, repent and ask for forgiveness, that's when you receive Christ as your personal saviour. You get filled with the holy spirit the moment you receive Christ, the holy spirit is the one who will guide you in your journey of salvation, living to honor Christ and living a Christ like life. Once you accept Christ, the old is gone and new has come , you're now a new Christ .
