Most young people don’t get off track in a vacuum, so I work hard to connect with both the young person and their parents so we can move forward together. I can connect. As a result of my training, my experience, and my ability to connect, I’m able to truly hear young people, to empathize with them, and accept them, wherever they are in their lives, and to understand what’s going on from their unique perspective.
