Religion of Islam

Islam is a monotheistic Abrahamic religion founded on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, as revealed in the Quran, the holy book of Islam. It emphasizes the oneness of God (Allah in Arabic) and the importance of submission to His will. The Five Pillars of Islam are fundamental acts of worship: Shahada (declaration of faith), Salah (prayer), Zakat (charity), Sawm (fasting during Ramadan), and Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca).
