A mathematician, philosopher, public figure and politician in Malawi. Also an activist in wildlife and environmental affairs. Well-travelled and interested in outdoor activities. He worked in various senior management capacities at the City of Blantyre Council and the Blantyre Water Board respectively. He was also a Lecturer in Mathematics at The Polytechnic of the University of Malawi.
