In the Church world, there can be a misunderstanding about success. Let me explain. Success in our world is defined as wealth, health, happiness, and comfort. Success in our world is simply bigger is always better. Bigger fame, bigger profits, bigger influence, a bigger house, bigger, nicer, newer everything, more, more, and more. If you think about it, success in this world is putting yourself in the center of the world and getting others to serve you. It’s called pride. Success in scripture is the opposite of success in our world.
