I have recently been approved as a foster parent through kidnship, though have always had teens in and out of my home. We talk. We listen. We work together to understand ourselves and one another. We remind one another of what -family- is truly meant to be. ♡

I think we should all remember our inner child. I think that most of us have been -adults- for far too long. I think that we've lent our valuable moments and precious memories on so much stress and worry that we've forgotten how to enjoy life without waiting for the next shoe to drop. It took me becoming a foster mother to fully understand that children are truly. just. -children-, and that we, too, are -all- just someone's children, when we rest our eyes at night. I think it's so valuable to find and remember and become the inner child that's been so lost for so long. To be a child again. ♡
